Rachel's quilt

Well, here is the quilt I sent off to my new niece. My sister in law just got it today(that was quick) and said that if I had not said anything about the stenciling, she would not have noticed. Oh well! At least she loves it!:)

Baby Quilt factory is open again!

It has taken me a long time to get back to this point, but I believe I have started back on my goal of making a baby quilt for everyone. We shall see how it goes after the baby, but for now that is what I am claiming anyway!:)

This is what I just made for a lady in my ward for her little boy.

This is machine pieced and hand quilted. I just quilted "in the ditch" with some glow in the dark thread, so there is not much detail to show.

I should be finishing the two t-shirt quilts by the weekend, and then hopefully two other baby/lap quilts soon after that. Stay tuned for those ones!:)

T-Shirt Quilt

Here is a quilt that was commissioned by a friend of a friend. It is the first t-shirt quilt I have done. I am pleased with how it has turned out. She provided me with the t-shirts and pajama bottoms and gave me free reign. This was a present for her mother for Christmas. I have two more smaller quilts to make out of the t-shirts she has provided, and will hopefully get to them this week.:)

Other Baby Quilts

When I was in Lakewood Ward I decided that I would make a quilt for every baby. Unfortunately I can't afford to do that right now. Anyway, here are the ones that I did while I was still doing that. There are maybe two in here that were for friends outside of the ward.

For the Nieces and Nephews

I Have a goal. I want all of my nieces and nephews to have a quilt when they are born. (Sorry MA and JH Morton - I didn't start until after you were born.)

I machine pieced and hand quilted all of these.

Anyway, here are all but TS Morton's, because I didn't start taking pictures until after that.

I have tagged them with their names just so that I don't forget which one is whose.

The quilt for my parents

This is the quilt that I made for my parents. I did not use a machine on ANY of it. Yep, all hand pieced and hand quilted. Took a long time. She loved it though!:)

It is easier to see some of the quilting in this picture

And here is what some of it looks like on the back.
